Power-lifting Champions

 

In addition to my regular work as a personal trainer, I have had the pleasure of coaching 3 Powerlifters in the past 13 years. Keith Purcell, Terry Vine and Steve Howse. Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing these guys happy.

 

I am immensely proud of the Powerlifters achievements to date, which include many medals at key Powerlifting Championship events in England, Scotland and Wales. Keith Purcell has also represented the UK at The Special Olympics World Games 2007 in China and managed to bring home 3 BRONZE medals. This year Keith also won GOLD at The Special Olympics Great Britain National games. Their phenomenal success is a testament to what can be achieved with a bit of dedication and hard work.

 

Also once again, a massive thank you to Cheetahs gym management and staff for their much-appreciated generosity and help all these years. 

 

Sadly 2017 was to be the last year for Terry Vine and Steve Howse to train or to compete. A massive thank you to them both too for all the hard work and training they put in over the years. 

Keith Purcell (the machine) will be carrying on as normal.
